Dan Perrins, Chair of The Future of Uranium in Saskatchewan consultation process, today announced locations, dates, and times of public meetings for northern communities:
|
Wednesday, June 24th |
7:30 - 10:00 pm 1:00 - 3:30 pm 7:00 - 9:30 pm |
These meetings are in addition to the ten community public consultations being held around the province (Yorkton, Estevan, Swift Current, Regina, Prince Albert, Buffalo Narrows, Lloydminster, North Battleford, Saskatoon, and La Ronge). Perrins noted that it was important to provide northern communities the opportunity to get directly involved in the consultation process.
“While there are various opportunities, we wanted to ensure that as many citizens as possible have reasonable access to the public meeting element of our entire consultation process,” Perrins said. “We look forward to the tour through our far north.”
All citizens continue to have additional ways to get informed and get involved:
Written submissions either online or by regular mail will be accepted until July 31st.
